Qualified Gas Engineer Development
Build your fault-finding confidence with expert backing
This route is for current, lapsed or in-progress gas engineers who need more field experience to handle complex breakdowns confidently. Current registration and relevant categories are needed before unsupervised gas work. Applicants with lapsed or in-progress qualifications may still apply, but must not carry out restricted gas work until appropriately qualified and registered.
This route is for you if:
- Applicants with current, lapsed or in-progress gas qualifications are welcome
- Confident with basic boiler servicing and general plumbing
- Keen to improve fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Engineers who want to learn how to do things the right way
We will discuss:
- Whether your gas qualifications are current, lapsed or in progress
- The servicing, diagnosis or controls support that would help most
- Which pathway gives you the right balance of independence and backing
